Wayward Sailor’s roots run deep, from cutting their teeth on Clemson University’s downtown scene as two founders of alt-rock quartet Swift Robinson, some ten years ago. After two studio albums and 300+ shows, touring through twelve states along the Eastern seaboard, the group parted ways for different projects. Fast-forward to 2017… through roundabout means, Eddie Williams and Casey Bennett found themselves reunited in the Holy City of Charleston, jamming with longtime scene drummer John "Tank" Tankersley, and ready to raise a new flag with Wayward Sailor. Their sound hinges on lockstep vocal harmonies and pop-heavy hooks, navigating familiar tunes with both effortless precision and infectious energy.
